waiting for my photos from The Mikado. I will not have the CD with all the photos on it until after the cast party on Sunday...so i am just posting this one of me being my usual silly self in the meantime...just to ease the boredom.

I have a problem now.
If one day, you are appointed to make a one-minute self-introduction, what would you say to make the entire audience impressed?

jm; first and foremost, know your audience! - for example, if i were talking to a group of loggers, i would not talk about NOT cutting down trees...see what i mean. but it is hard for me to tell you what to say since i don't know you that well.

but even though you may be nervous, ACT as if you are not, also, try to smile, best keep the topic light, talk about your passions, your aspirations, be genuine....

hope this helps.

yeah jipit was awesome, and the group of performers, young and old, are a fab bunch of people, so talented, yet just plain nice people. my friend missed it, but i ordered the DVD, so next week she is coming over to see "The Quilt" -(friendship quilt - amamzing work of art! - i will post photos as soon as i take some) at the Surrey Art Gallery, then to my place for lunch and then we will watch the Mikado; i'm looking forward to it!

thanks dcs , i wish i still looked more like THAT, all that's left is the hair! since i have been on prednazone. my daughter gets upset with me with i say my reflection in the mirror still startles me - my poor little lips have disappeared into this mass of cheeks - i call myself "chipmunk cheeks" - but i have to make fun of myself or i would just be plain pathetic! - actually i look very much like a cabbage patch kid! (i know i should not be so vain, but whatcha gonna do?) - supposedly this problem will go away once i am off the Prednazone, so that is my goal. - well, i guess i will have to work on the beauty INSIDE, eh?

:"fuzzy" aaahhhgh!!!! - you have NO idea! - it was WONDERFUL - the comraderie, the nervous tension on the night of the first performance, everything! what a fab bunch of individuals, yet what a cohesive group, it made for a First Class performance!

hey there Kath thanks for being so agreeable...yeah, we had fun with those photos my friend and i, posing and being silly, actually, that photo was taken about 2 1/2 years ago to send to a guy that i had met online and was thinking about going to Toronto to meet up with...so i was trying to be seductive...HAH HAH HAH HAH- thinking back on that makes me chuckle.

hi alan thanks for stopping by, and thanks for the compliment, i have changed a bit since that photo, but....oh well.

i have some nice and unusual recipies i mean to put up for recipe Saturday...so see you soon...

p.s. oh yes Kath, i am a Gemini too, but i don't publish my exact dates because i'm scared of identity thieves who may log on and somehow make use of the info...my daughter is a Gemini too, as is her friend; actually i know quite a few others...i like being a Geminii, don't you?
