(composition by pj April 29/06)

This is the "drawing" in it's entirity. The symbolic heart cracks open, bleeds, and from the drops of symbolic blood many beautiful things blossom and bloom; the result being the compassionate heart, which is green in colour....

....and so, the process continues....

but check out May 15 post below this one, as that is the beginning of this "story", so to speak...

Cool representation. Just one question, What's with the bugs?

dragonflyfilly said...

what do you mean, bugs??????

i think he meant the butterflies above the heart going down into it, i thought that was hte symbolism of new life but what would i know :P Great picture thanks for placing this here, it evoked some thought for us but it wasnt bad thought just hmm intersting thought.

ahhh yes, of course the insects! - thanks JIP ...well, the dragonflies are symbolic of illusion, the bee = the sweet nectar of life; the butterflies = transformation; the worms = they muck around in the mud, and help to feed the soil, and so on....i don't really know...i did not really give it much thought, i just drew what came to mind...

Hello PJ. Thank you for the Congratulations Wishes. Was a long haul to work full time and go to night classes. I am still exhausted...but going on for a Bachelors in Criminology, and oh so ever happy to be this far. Getting an Associate of Arts degree & a Criminal Justice Certificate was really a dream come true for me. Something I wanted since I was knee high. Now I may have to go back to working two jobs to pay for it, aaaaarrrggghhhh. But, it was worth it. Some day I want a Masters, but one step at a time and Patience.

Cold here again in the midwest. But I am happy the grass is green and the birds are chirping. Two little baby robins sit out back on my deck, they have made my potted outdoor Fern (from my last home) their playground, but that is ok. The ferns stalks will grow back...they are having to much fun trying to perch on the ferns.

Have a great Sunday
Peg

Hello PJ,

It's been a hectic week over here and a busy weekend all around. Taking a moment off my feet to check in on everyone.

I am enjoying your symbolic brave heart presentation. It symbolizes and verifies my own thoughts on this same matter where I believe it takes great pain to achieve great compassion for one's fellow beings.

Goodnite and God bless,
Enid

Hi Peg,
thanks for stopping by.

intresting that you are going towards your degree in Crimonology - that was one of the first courses i did in 1994 when i was re-starting College. Then i did another in 1996 - Woman and the Justice System - when i working on my Social Services Degree...at that time i was not really sure what i wanted to do, so was exploring several options.

i have a friend who is completing her Masters in Paliative Care, and my Doctor has gone back to University and is working on a Masters in Nutrition!!! - and lazy me...i'm not doing much of anything...just trying to get well!! heh heh...

isn't it wonderful, watching the baby birds...i love nature...in all forms...sometimes formidable, but mostly inspiring...

today is my daughter's birthday, so i am taking her and her boyfriend out for lunch. i knitted a small wool purse for her but when i went to try to felt it, it did not work out as it is supposed to...so back to the drawing board. i have been up since 6:00 a.m., puttering around. it is going to be a busy day for me, and i am already tired...might have to have a little nap BEFORE i head out.

well, thanks again for stopping by...i will have the Mikado stuff up shortly and i have misplaced one of the photos.

hi "jumping..." coming by your blog soon to chat!

hey there tt as above, the Mikado info and photos will be up soon!

hey jm thanks for stopping by...i think if you just keep reading the Blogs, you will probably improve your English quite a bit, although, we are not all so good at English either...

hey Sylvia how goes the "battle", so to speak...

hi Kath my "travels" consisted of a four day trip to Vancouver Island!!!! whop de do!! heh heh - my mom and sis wanted me over there to help me celebrate my birthday...my friend let me use her car, she shared the cost of the Ferry and the gas, and i drove...i had a lovely time!

Hi Enid, thanks for stopping by...see my comment at your blog.

Hi SheW0lf i will be seeing my daughter today, so i will tell her about your comment. Thanks!

hey soft_rain nice to see you at my Blog...well, it would be lovely to connect up with you when you get to BC...let me know when you are coming, and where you are staying and i will made sure i try to see you!!!!

cheers for now,
pj
