Happy Canada Day! Hope you've had a great weekend -- and, while my comment may be a little late, those photographs of the Mikado costumes were spectacular!

Happy Canada Day!(I don't know 7/2 is Canada's birthday, but now I know,Thanks)
One of my friend went to Canada this summer, I think she is still in Canada now, but she can't speak any English except "Unbelievable".
So if you meet someone in the street, who keep saying "Unbeliveable" that must be her.
Someday I may visit there,too.
But now I'm poor.

Thank you for all the new photos!

Each year as things change here I appreciate that maple leafed flag more and more!

Great Photos and Happy Canada Day a little late. It was Sunday??

I think it is so neat we can see all other parts of the world through photos...you have a lovely neighborhood. Very impressive!! And the Flamingos in flight...so beautiful!!!!!!

Have a great day and stay cool, (you always are LOL!!!) It is hot and humid here also. I had to turn on the air conditioning yesterday for Bun-Bun, she was getting to warm..and bunnies do not like the heat. She loves winter....and snow..unlike me. I love the summer heat and humidity. We have some rain clouds just sitting waiting to decide what they want to do today....I am hoping to get a little more "bike-time" in on this day of vacation I am taking...

Take care
Have a great week
Peg from the U.S.A.

hi there meowyes, i am quite happy here - it is quite busy and large but i enjoy the anonimity...

hello kimber nice to see you, i was thinking about you yesterday as a friend of mine is looking for a group of belly dancers for a big celebration, and i can't find all my info ref: contacts and phone numbers etc, and i thought you might be able to help. unfortunately i did not get to put up ALL the Mikado photos, as you can see i am having trouble with my blog postings.

hey JM - nice to see you here. well, as a nation, we have just started celebrating "Canada Day" which is July 1st...but my mom and sister and i always had a party on July 1st (about 30 years ago and our neighbours always thought we were a bit strange)...well, it caught on fast, now it is a big deal!

hey alan i've been thinking about you, but my office is so warm i have been avoiding turning my computer on...makes it even hotter! ...Yes, i remember when we changed fron the Royal Ensign (i think it was) and had a contest for a new flag, i did submit an entry, which was quite close to the one we had, but someone else won the contest! the flag you see in the photo was one that was erected during Expo (86???) and Jimmy Pattison bought it when the exposition was over. You can see it for miles around...i love it!

hey Peg nice to see you! i agree with BunBun, i prefer the cooler weather, altho' i don't love snow. Yes, my flamingos "fly south" because if kept them on my balcony all summer they would be bleached white!

hey there ian how goes the battle? thanks for stopping by. Yeah, i am quite happy in my "hood", but on Saturday i went to see my friend's new place in Langley. She is living in a loft above a riding stable, what a fab place she has, now i want to move!!!!

well, all, HAPPY JULY 4th...cheers for now,
pj

Hey Dragonflyfilly!

A great place to start would be MEDA, the Middle Eastern Dance Association in British Columbia. They can put you in touch with lots and lots of local bellydancers!

Have fun!

Hello Canadian Blogger You!!! LOL.

Can't you tell, the humidity has passed, and Bun-Bun and I are enjoying some much welcomed relief from the hot and humid weather.

I am getting ready to hit the bike trails....need some alone time, and that is a good thing. So I take it when I can. LOL.

Going to bike a new trail today..and see what's that direction.

I still am at awe over the flamingos in flight. What a beautiful picture. They are truly are an awesome bird.

Til Later
