thanks Willemina, i wondered about those two when i first read them but it was late and i had been on my computer for too long so my brain was tired. yeah, i was looking for a nice photo of me to put in place, but i have forgotten how to get them off my disc and into "my pictures" file. i will phone my friend tomorrow and she will talk me through it if she has time.
cheers for now,
pj
Cheryl, only the Christmas Flamingos is my photo, The Moon Is In My Heart is a print i should have given credit to Dwane Edward Rourkd, and the other is something i found in an Oprah magazine...but i have some nice photos i took a long time ago (before i married and had my daughter and still have that creative energy)and i will dig them up and post them when i have more time. It takes me ages, getting used to this new technology. I see you are a bit of a night owl like me...
cheers for now,
pj
Hi SUZENNE, Yes, i am trying to replace the flamingos with a photo of myself, but the photo i was looking for on a CD did not appear where i thought i had moved it to...i will try again, but i am tired tonight, so will give it another try in the morning when my brain is a bit fresher.
thanks for visiting my site...look forward to chatting some more with you,
cheers for now,
pj
lovely lovely lovely blog--- I want my daughters to see this one!
thanks Lady Base Camp...this picture of The Moon is in my Heart was given to me when the treatment centre i worked at had to close down because of lack of funding (Campbell Valley Women's Centre was the only one at the time where WOMEN ONLY, young women, between the ages 15 to 19, could get treatment for substance misuse. Very sad when it closed down.
i hope your daughters do drop by my Blog...
cheers,
pj
This is a neat picture...Any idea what materials were used?

nope...what i have is a numbered print, but i suspect acrylics...i could get my daughter to look at it and perhaps she would be able to tell. Soon i will scan and download some photos i have of her paintings and post them...she has done some wonderful work.
cheers for now, chat soon,
yours truly,
