I rather like spiders.
hey there El Capitano, good, i like spiders too. I found "Tranny", a lovely "stuffy" that i bought at Ikea, (about 2 years ago) as a gift for a friend of mine, but i lost it (i thought i had thrown it out by mistake, or given it to the Goodwill (by accident);...anyhoo, while i was tidying up i found her behind some boxes. Shortly after a friend phoned and i said: "Oh, i am sooo happy, i found Tranny, she was hiding behind the bookcase in some boxes", and he thought i was talking about a REAL spider, he sounded quite startled, so i thought i had better let him know that it was just a toy, as i had the feeling he would not visit me if he thought there was a Trantula in the house! -- his tone of voice was so funny.....
Fun!
hi Deb, thanks for stopping by.
will you be "in disguise" this year?
Paul had a spider costume for a dog on his page the other day...I thought it really cute!
No costume for me, but I'll be here to see the grandkids in theirs for the first time!
You must have thrown a football a lot better than I ever did...of course, I was a band geek...
This one time, at band camp...
:o)

Nice photos...What are you doing on Hallowe'en? Going out or staying in. I'm shoving candy down ugly little kids throats with Lance.
Sorry been gone...I'm a fucking psycho >_<

hey there alan,
yeah, i saw all those crazy/cute photos of dogs dressed up....sooo funny.... so i guess you will be going out with the kids, eh...and have you tried that peanut butter cookie recipe yet?
Mr. Death, HEYYYYYYYYYY, nice to see you after such a long time....well, like a true guel, goul, how do you spell guel anyway, you only come out during All Hallows Eve, eh?
I like spiders too and love your costume. If we go to a party that we're invited to tonight then I am going as a "witch doctor."
As for your meds comment/question:
I do think that some people are over medicated and that some people shouldn't even be on drugs at all!! I wish I wasn't one who needed 6 meds but alas that is my situation and it's just what it is. :)
righty ho, clay, i will "comply" and my next BlogSpot Post will reflect that....i'm sorry you don't like spiders - you know they ARE "God's Creatures" too, and they eat nasty bugs!
Hi there james, i have just finished carving my a THIRD pumpkin, i don't know why i'm on such a carving spree. I am not partying...too tired to make the effort, but i am having fun here on my own. I saw these really creepy disembodied hands at SS, batter operated, and they crawl along - like The Hand in the Adam's Family, i have placed it on my window sill, holding a huge carving knife, also attached a skeleton "body" to the amazingly scary skull i have hanging from my balcony, so....i'm ready for All Hallows Eve...i sure wish i could go down to "The Drive" (Commercial Drive, a.k.a. Little Italy)...where they will be having the Parade of Lost Souls on Tuesday night (or is it tonight, i can't remember)....anyway...
Which Dr. are you going as? --- no just kidding...i think that is a great idea for a costume.
ref. the meds...i know, it must be a drag, but *sigh*...i know they are sometimes necessary...it's just those very unpleasant side effects, eh?
well, i hope you have fun at your party...it has just turned 12:00 or 11:00 now with DST, and already the ambulance and fire engine sirens are blaring all over the place....
ewww I am not a fan of spiders..
I don kill them.. but i would far rather they stay elsewhere!
Halloween is less fun with the kids grown..
I sit outside and dole out treats to kids and dogs, and occasional diet coke to a parent..
its okay.. but still..
nothing shines as bright since the kids have grown..
christmas least of all....
Ohh I love that spider!
We had tarantulas when we were kids and they are the neatest creatures.
My fave being Pink Toed Tarantulas, they look so cute with their black bodies and brght pink toes;p
Ooooh, what a handsome spider !!
I had a huge one like that in a jar when I was a kid ... it never really liked me (guess I wouldn't like me, either, if I had to put up with living in a jar and beeing shook around and poked with a stick ... *sigh*)
Have a great week.
Take care, Meow
Happy Halloween, Dragonflyfilly! I hope it's a delightfully frightful evening for you!
Hi Kath well, not everyone loves spiders (an acquired "taste" i guess, hah hah!) -
ms.I - i have never heard of a Pink Toed Trantula, shall have to google it to see one...
well, certainly meow no one likes to be kept in a jar, or poked with a stick!!!! - you're lucky you didn't get "bit!" - you must have been a handful when you were a kid, (probably still are, hah hah!)
Hi there kimber, yes, it WILL be, hope you have a fab day too!
