The Enchanted Forrest

Kitchen window overlooking Sleepy Hollow

(my wierd "artistic rendering")

Ground View of the Enchanted Forrest, as
seen from a section of Sleepy Hollow

This is a "re-run" of a brief "essay" i wrote a while back. I'm thinking that some new readers might find it interesting.

(Aerial photo by Pj - 1995)

The Enchanted Forrest - realm of faeries and honourable ancestors, where i first locked eyes with Coyote. Eros came blundering through, in his carpenter's belt, his steel-toed boots covered with sawdust. Wielding his nail gun, he turned my whole world up-side-down; with his 50lb crowbar he roughly chipped away at the stone that was once my heart - slowly cracking open a small crevice into which the moonshine of love could penetrate. He whirled me so high i was dizzy and breathless; when i felt my whole being shattering, he threw me back down again. And so my journey began anew...[first published September 28/05]

hi alan, yes, well, maybe...ah well, it's all part of the process, process, process, eh?

hi "angeldust", Scoundrel? maybe, but we are what we are, and as i like to say, at any given time we do the best we can with what we have...a young soul in an old body maybe... c'est live...

yes JIP, i guess i am still trying to let go of the possibility of a "dream house" on 4.4 acres of old growth land, but....it was devouring me, and nearly swallowed me up in one big gulp (i had a narrow escape!)

Hey there Capitain, thanks, and a true one it is, albiet with embellishments!

thanks for stopping by all,
love and light,
pj

hi Deb, yeah, i love that photo too, a real-estate friend of mine took me up in his plane, and i was able to get that shot, the house was almost completed and i had already moved out, i think i am nearly at a place where i feel o.k. at having to have let it go.....attachment and all that eh?
